I liked Lord of the Swamp. The story is about a deaf mute Sam lives in a Louisiana swamp area with many backward type of individuals. The author covered lots of terrain in the 16 pages and probably should have fleshed out the characters a little better. I really don’t want to give too many spoilers but I will say that Sam goes through lots of suffering before he finally finds happiness with a human female. His best buddies are two Nutria rats who will figure prominently by the end of the story. The author describes cruelty done to Sam and Sam’s revenge using the Nutria rats and their offspring. This is a quick read and I would read more by this author.Product details
